This page contains a selection TeX/LaTeX related information and resources. Amongst other links to information which I use frequently or consider usefull. Furthermore it contains some useful files I have compiled from different sources. (Back to my homepage.)

Noteworthy Packages

• AMSLaTeX. My favourite style and macro package for typsetting mathematical and non-mathematical papers.
• PB-Diagram. For typsetting commutative diagrams.

Noteworthy Documentation

• The Not So Short Introduction to LaTeX2e. This document by Tobias Oetiker et al is a good beginner's tutorial.
• The Comprehensive LaTeX Symbol List. Tables of symbols that are accessible from LaTeX. More than 100 pages of information!
• User's Guide for the amsmath Package. This document describes in about 40 pages the possibilities of the amsmath package which provides a lot of usefull macros for typesetting mathematical texts.
• Instructions for Preparation of Papers and Monographs (AMSLaTeX).
• Using the amsthm Package.

Miscellaneous Resources

• loc_def.sty. A collection of LaTeX definitions which I use to write my mathematical texts. It turned out to be usefull to keep this file in a global place. It gradualy grows with the need of symbols and makes it easy to keep a consistant collection of definition for use in different documents. It is written as a package and I access it with "\usepackage{loc_def}" in my doccuments.
• math.bib. My bibliography database file for use with BibTeX.
